  • Family Law-I handle a full range of Family Law matters, including adoption, premarital agreements, contested and uncontested divorce, legal separation, establishment and modification of child support, establishment and modification of child custody and visitation, cohabitation and domestic partnership documents, emancipation, guardianships, paternity, and appeals.

    Divorce
    Marriage is a legal relationship between two people. Many legal matters arise when a marriage is to be dissolved and you need help to find your way to an agreeable settlement. As your legal representative, the firm's attorneys have the experience and creativity to understand the difficulties that arise and the flexibility to help you discover new ways to cope during this potentially stressful time.

    Custody and Visitation Divorce is traumatic for parents and children. When searching for the right visitation schedule or deciding where the children should live, each party should have an attorney who is knowledgeable of the state standards and sensitive to the concerns of both adults and children.

    Child Support
    It is undisputed that divorce has emotional implications on the family. Financial implications can be almost as daunting.     Appeals
    I also represent clients in the appellate courts if their former spouse files an appeal from the Family Court judge's decision.

We handle all types of criminal cases, from minor infractions such as traffic violations and misdemeanors such as drunk driving (DUI/DWI), to the most serious felony indictments, including drug possession and sales, assault, theft, white collar fraud, embezzlement, sex offenses, arson, and homicide.

  • Personal Injury-I have extensive experience representing people who have been injured by someone else, such as wrongful deaths, all types of motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and all other negligent and intentional misconduct. I assist my clients in receiving the maximum possible compensation for their injuries, lost wages, and other damages.

  • Wills and Estate Administration-I offer a variety of services for people who wish to plan in advance for the distribution of property upon their death, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, so that their property goes to the persons or charities that they wish, and their heirs pay the minimum possible tax. I also have a significant practice in probate and estate administration. Probate is the legal process by which a will is proved to be valid and decedents' debts are paid and assets distributed after they die. Estate administration includes the probate process as well as non-probate transfers of the deceased's assets, and generally includes collecting all of the decedent's assets, liquidating his or her liabilities, paying necessary taxes (if any), and distributing property to heirs. State laws direct the probate court how to distribute the deceased's estate, so it is important to consult a firm with expertise in this area of the law.
